Temos então de volta um dos nossos festivais farovitos em Vila Nova de Gaia. No Areinho a 2º Edição do Festival Gaia Positives Vibes, volta a carga com as suas vibraçoes positivas. Aliando entretenimento e cultura este festival promete ser diferente, personalizado, colorido, alternativo mas abrangente.
E como nos tem vindo a habituar, será monumental.

So we have the favorite summer festival of Vila Nova de Gaia. On Areinho the 2º Edition of Festival Gaia Positive Vibes, comes back full of positive energie, and embracing the entertanement with te cultural of the city, promesing being unique, diferent, alternative, cheerfull, and to all.

Great names, but how to get there:

More close to the date, there will be a special Reggae BUS, so we will only have dates more near the date for this.

 Coming by Train: 
Get out on General Torres, then cacth the Bus 31 (direction Oliveira do Douro), change on the stop "Aveiro", and catcg the Bus 37 ( direction Areinho), go to the final Station. Tickets are bought on each bus, so bring change.

Coming from the Airport:
 Buy or reload a Z4 Andante Card ( 1 for person, ATENTION TITLES ARE TRIPS, each time for 1 person).
Check the Andante on the machine and go on the direction Estádio do Dragão or Fanzêres until station TRINDADE, there change to the underground line D ( direction Santo Ovidio) and get out on General Torres, and catch the Reggea Bus or the alternative normal Bus lines, that you pay the ticket inside the bus, if you don't see the validation Andante Machine on the bus,  then cacth the Bus 31 (direction Oliveira do Douro), change on the stop "Aveiro", and catcg the Bus 37 ( direction Areinho), go to the final Station.

Natiruts - Porto - 15 de Maio 2013 PT/EN

Em 1966, surge pela vida de Alexandre Carlo, canções como hobbie, como escape, como parte de si no som do mundo.  Esse hobbie foi crescendo junto com Juninho, Luis Mauricio, Bruno Dourado, e o reggea calmo inicial, juntamento com as suas raizes de musica brasileira, foram fazendo seu som. Foram adicionando mais membros, Izabella Rocha, Kiko Peres, e crescendo no meio musical. Os ritmos foram variando, a banda foi variando e agora Natiruts, é uma banda com reagge de raiz, mas que vai incorporando sons do momento no album, tornando cada album emocionante e diferente.

Como chegar até ao Coliseu.
A estação mais próxima da Rua Passos Manuel é a do Bolhão, e vai descendo a Rua Santa Catarina, ou a Rua da Alegria até intersectar a Rua Passos Manuel.
Na Zona C1, S8, C6, só vai precisar de um Andante Z2 ( 1 por pessoa), convem já carregar com dois titulos cada um, assim já tem a viagem de regresso.

In 1966, from the life of Alexandre Carlo, and hobbie with songs as an scape from real life, gives part of himself to the world.
An hobbie that grew further with the help of Juninho, Luis Mauricio, Bruno Dourado, and the roots on reagge, got close to his hometown roots of brasil, doing they unique sound.
More members to the band, Izabella Rocha, Kiko Peres, and the more it grew. The ritms got diferent mistures with music of the world, music of the moment, music that inspire's. Every album is something new, incororated with the roots of the band.

On 15 May, in Coliseu do Porto, you can watch this amazing band, at 10 p.m.

To go by metro depends on the zone you are hosted, the Coliseu do Porto is on Rua Passos Manuel, near station metro Bolhão, and near Rua Santa Catarina.
So if you are in:
 Zone C1, S8, C6, You will need an Andante Z2 ( 1 for person), And charge with 2 titles(trips) for each card you have, so you will have the return trip. ( ATENTION: Trips are not refundable).

"Metro toda a noite após Serenata e Cortejo
A semana mais aguardada do ano está a chegar e com ela o Metro do Porto garante aos estudantes segurança, conforto e mobilidade nos serviços, para que possam viver a maior festa académica.

O serviço de Metro será reforçado nos momentos mais concorridos da semana, garantindo transporte contínuo toda a noite após a Serenata (de 4 para 5 de Maio) e após o Cortejo (de 7 para 8). Estarão a funcionar em contínuo as linhas Azul (A), Vermelha (B), Verde (C), Amarela (D) e Laranja (F).

Nos restantes dias, o Metro está em operação até ao Queimódromo sempre até à uma hora da manhã, retomando o serviço às 5H00, a partir da Estação Câmara de Matosinhos (a estação mais próxima do grande palco dos concertos da Queima), com ligação às linhas B e C na Senhora da Hora e veículos duplos até às 8H00 da manhã.

Durante as noites da Operação Especial “Queima 2013” as estações Nau Vitória, Heroísmo, Salgueiros, Faria Guimarães estarão encerradas e, como tal, sem serviço. Nestas noites, algumas estações terão, por motivos de segurança, alguns acessos encerrados. É o caso da Estação Estádio do Dragão (lado Sul), Bolhão (entradas pela Rua Alexandre Braga), Trindade (acesso pelo Largo Tito Fontes), Carolina Michaelis (dolado da Escola), São Bento (saída para o lado da Sé), e Combatentes (acesso escada pedonal).
A primeira Operação Especial começa com o arranque da Queima, a Monumental Serenata, no dia 5 de maio, à 00h01, nos Aliados. No final da Serenata, para levar os estudantes ao Queimódromo, a Linha Azul tem também serviço reforçado.

Como habitualmente, o Metro do Porto recomenda a compra ou o carregamento antecipado dos títulos Andante necessários para manteres esta semana em movimento."

Festas Senhor de Matosinhos 2013 de 10 de Maio a 2 de Junho PT/EN

A Festa do Senhor de Matosinhos é um momento alto entre as romarias do concelho e do norte do país, tendo adquirido novas dinâmicas com as notáveis acessibilidades com que Matosinhos foi dotado.

Decorre de 10 de maio e 2 de junho, prolongando-se por quase três semanas de festividades religiosas e atividades lúdicas, culturais e desportivas. O Feriado municipal celebra-se no dia 21 de Maio.

Milhares de lâmpadas iluminam o espaço da festa e a Igreja do Bom Jesus de Matosinhos, cujos altares são artisticamente decorados com lindíssimas flores. No templo, obra de Nasoni, rezam-se sermões e missas, de festa e solenes, e sai uma grandiosa procissão ao Senhor do Padrão.

Bandas de música animam as ruas e os tradicionais coretos, expõe-se artesanato, rememoram-se lendas e tradições, mostra-se o Inventário do Património Arquitetónico e Religioso de Matosinhos ou, em jeito de festival, divulgam-se os receituários gastronómicos de peixes e de mariscos.

Entre o fogo de bonecos, na terça feira à tarde e o esplendoroso fogo de artifício de sábado à noite, há matraquilhos, carrosséis e carrinhos de choque, farturas, sardinhas assadas e caldo verde ou, forma suprema de ir à festa, comprar louça tradicional nas barraquinhas da Feira da Louça.

Festa de Senhor de Matosinhos is the highest point between popular festivals from the municipality and the north of the country, have adquired new dinamics with the new ways to travel there.

During 10 May and 2 June, and almost for 3 weeks of cultural festivities, various activities. The Holliday is on the 21 May.

Thousands of lightballs illuminate the sace fot the festivities and the Bom Jesus de Matosinhos Church, with altars artistic decorated with beatifull flowers. On the Temple , Nasoni work, we have the sermons and mass, and the grand procession to Senhor do Padrão.
  
Band Music ecoes down the street, with the tradicional bandstands, expositions of HandyCraft, tales of legends and traditions, beautiful monuments that shows the town history, restaurants showing the recepies for fish and sea food.

Between the groundfirework, on thusday afternoon, to the slendid air firework of saturday night, we can come across lots of varieties of fun, or go to the stands and shop for tradicional items.

How to go by metro:

If you are on the center town porto, you only need a z3 on your andante card ( this can be bought on the machines on the stations, or on paypal comercial shops, or on andante shops, it rechargable, and the machine gives only ONE at operation, don't forget, 1 title=1 trip for 1 card, 2 titles= 2 trips for 1 card, so you need 2 cards so you do 2 operations with 1 title each).Then just scan the card on the yellow and black machine, green light ok, and catch the Metro Senhor de Matosinhos Line A, and go all the way, until the end, then you just need to walk a little.

If you are on the Airport - Line E, you will need a z3,there is only one way there so no mistake, change metro on the station Senhora da Hora, and catch the Senhor de Matosinhos - line A.

If you already are on Matosinhos Town, you will need a Z2, and follow the Senhor de Matosinhos Line A.

If you are coming form Vila do Conde or Povoa de Varzim, Follow the Estádio de Dragão Line or the Express in case you cath the metro on Povoa de Varzim( Z5), Portas Fronhas(Z5),Vila do Conde(Z5), Varziela(Z4), Mindelo(Z4),Pedras Rubras( Z3), and switch line on Senhora de Hora to the A- Senhor de Matosinhos.
